“My grandmother used to bake everything from scratch, and I missed that, so I decided to open this bakery. She lived through two world wars and The Great Depression, and I grew up hearing her stories about how tough she had it, so I think a little bit of that wore off on me. The idea with Frona Mae Dessert Café is that people come in happy because they’re going out for dessert, and they leave even happier if I do my job right.”
