Celebratory event and surprise jobsite visits planned for September 10

IT'S NOT ALL FLOWERS AND SUNSHINE IN L.A.

LOS ANGELES (September 16, 2015) — Los Angeles is more than just flowers and sunshine; this city is full of hard workers who work smart. As one of the Freightliner Trucks Hardest Working Cities, Los Angeles is the leader in manufacturing employment and among the top contributors to the U.S. gross domestic product.

Last week, we visited jobsites across L.A. to surprise some of the city's hardest workers with food, gifts and our appreciation. And on September 10th, we hosted an award presentation where a representative from Mayor Garcetti's office accepted the award on behalf of the city.
